Welcome to Eckford Village Hall

Eckford is a small rural village set in stunning scenery in the heart of the Scottish Borders. The village hall, built in 1930 by the local community on land owned by the Duke of Buccleuch, has been operating as a community venue ever since.

It has played a vital role in strengthening community spirit in the Parish of Eckford. and today the hall continues to be the cornerstone of village life.

We have a range of activities taking place in the hall.

Mobile Library/Pop up Café/Book club/New age Kurling/Craft groups.

The hall is also available for private hire and is a great place for that special occasion. It has been the venue for many a celebration: ceilidhs/birthday parties/weddings/dances/afternoon teas/anniversaries.

Not forgetting our annual Village BBQ.
